Our boy Jimmy Holland played a sick show at Lancaster Uni last summer for some summer ball type of thing. Real fun day/night!

LYRIC VIDEO: ‘Party at the End of the World’
So, two weeks back I did a little tour with Burn Daylight and Mikee J Reds. We had a blast!!!
On the Thursday we played a last minute house show with PJ Bond, and despite the limited attendance, it was a huge pleasure playing it, got tonnes of respect for that guy. It was my first time seeing Burn Daylight, that guy’s great, go listen to him, and Mikee too; thoroughly enjoyed their sets each night. We managed to catch Apologies I Have None at the Old Blue Last afterwards, such an ace band, keep an eye out for them …
Next up was Newbury, we played to a Friday night pub crowd; even though the majority weren’t there for us, they listened, they were respectful to us, can’t ask for anything more. After the gig, we stayed at some guys house; none of us knew him, he’s just out their to support people playing music, such a dude …
On Saturday we played Camden. It’s always great to meet up with friends I haven’t seen for a while; we stayed up ‘til far too late in the morning, talking and drinking, had a fab time. Unfortunately, my set was cut short. Still, I kept on playing (or tried to), before being drowned out by the tech’s ‘Metal of choice’; I felt punk as fuck ;) … I also managed to fit in a cheeky song with Rob Lynch, if you must watch it, the link’s here …

My final date with Burn Daylight and Mikee J Reds was in Portsmouth, at the Edge of the Wedge. Never been there before, but I had a great time. Enjoyed the beach, and after spending the past few nights sleeping the floor, my sleep at the Etap hotel was lush. The gig itself was fun, attendance wasn’t huge, but still, we made a few friends, people watched us, can’t complain …
On Monday, I headed back up to Leeds for the final show of this little tour, at Santiago’s. My friends in Fine Young Firecrackers and Hearts and Souls played, along w/On My Honor, Think Big!, the Rookie League and We Stand Victorious. After a 6 hour trek, I arrived back home, and the show was great. Despite a broken DI box, I played unplugged, and had loads of fun. All the bands killed it, and a big shout out to Pinky Swear’s Lee Burgess for putting it all on …
MASSIVE THANKS TO ANYONE WHO HELPED OUT, CAME DOWN TO A SHOW,
Jimmy X
